Η φωτογραφία ιδιοποιείται τον τίτλο της από την ομώνυμη μουσική σύνθεση του Μάνου Χατζηδάκι που φυσικά ιδιοποιήθηκε τον τίτλο της από τον διάσημο πίνακα Mona Lisa ή Gioconda του Leonardo da Vinci. Το σοκολατάκι, ένα readymade κατά τον Marcel Duchamp, προσθέτει έναν ακόμα πειρασμό στην φωτογραφία.
Από τις 4.118 συμμετοχές, επιλέχθηκαν μόλις 26 φωτογραφίες για δημοσίευση — ανάμεσά τους και η συγκεκριμένη φωτογραφία μου.

The photograph takes its title from the musical composition of Manos Hadjidakis, which in turn borrowed its name from Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, the Mona Lisa or Gioconda. The chocolate, a readymade in the sense of Marcel Duchamp, adds yet another temptation to the image.
Out of 4.118 submissions, only 26 photographs were selected for publication — among them, this particular work of mine.
